Hello (week 25 if I am counting correctly)

Wow! What a week!! Did any of you see me on facebook? We got approved to be Facebook-proselyting missionaries on Friday, and we are supposed to spend 1 to 1.5 hours each day online. The past two days we've had to clean our facebook up so it's missionary appropriate.. How embarrassing. I've had that thing since I was 15 and needless to say I wasn't too fond of reliving all of those awkward memories. Jeez.

So.. here are the rules. I am using facebook to fulfill my purpose, which is to 'Invite others to come unto Christ' we don't have boundaries or restrictions on WHO we help come unto Christ. So, if you have gospel questions or some Christ centered advice, feel free to talk to me. If you just want to check up on me, write me an email at myldsmail.net<http://myldsmail.net>. Got it? :)
We had stake conference this weekend. It was awesome! So much talk about missionary work. There was an invitation extended in General Conference for everyone to reach out to someone before the end of the year... so DO IT! Facebook is the PERFECT way. Either by sharing some gospel-centered post or making your own post about how the gospel has changed your life. I'm going to be doing it pretty frequently, so if you don't have the guts to make one of your own, share mine! Start praying for missionary opportunities and I promise you that they will come!

This week Sister Chen and I have been on an FHE rampage. We've done it with two different families and WOW! I cannot believe the spirit that comes into their home. The mom's love it and the kids do too. I know it's hard, but if you aren't having family home evening, START! The prophets have asked us to have it each week! We talked to both families about baptism because they were either recent converts or investigators. It wasn't anything fancy or long, but both mom's texted us after and told us how grateful they were and how much they loved the spirit that was brought.
We FINALLY met our investigator Miguelina. She's pretty much an eterni-gator... she's been meeting with missionaries for two years! She is so ready to be baptized, but she has a bum boyfriend who won't move out... and get this, HE'S A MEMBER! What the.. Anyway, she is so sweet. She knows what she wants but she is too nice. I think she doesn't realize that she deserves SO much better than him and that she can do so much better than him. When we were meeting with her she was explaining her situation and how she was so frustrated with it. I felt prompted to ask her why Heavenly Father sent her sister missionaries.. she'd had Elders for over 2 years! She looked at me and thought for a second and started crying... She said she really just needs support and someone to talk to about her situation. Her daughter, Angie, is going to be baptized November 30! She's so cute and so sweet.
Time is flying by! I counted and there are less than 60 days until Christmas! I really hope I get to spend Christmas in middletown, not only because I'm in a car, but because I really feel like there are some amazing things in store for me here. There are so many amazing people here! I miss the craziness of the Bronx, mostly because there was never a boring day there. Middletown has so much potential though! I'd go into detail but I'm sure it would just bore you all to tears.
Love you all!!
